Simple App refund policy

Simple.Life Apps, Inc. (“Simple”, “we” or “us”) operates Simple: Intermittent Fasting mobile application, the website (simple.life), blog, and all related services, features and content offered by Simple (collectively, the "App").

There are two ways for you to cancel the subscription and get a refund: right to cancellation based on our policy and cancellation during your applicable cooling-off period.

CANCELLATION BASED ON OUR POLICY

Cancellation & refund methods differ based on the way you have subscribed to the App.

  1. If you have purchased subscription via our website

    We grant you an option to cancel the subscription and receive the refund provided that you are not satisfied with the App. However, this cancellation option is subject to several conditions:

    • You must contact us within 30 days from the initial purchase and before the end of your subscription term.
    • You can demonstrate that you have followed the customized program for 15 consecutive days (e.g., by showing your tracking data).

    Following the receipt of your refund application, we will notify you by email if it is approved. We will use your original payment method for the refund. Typically, it takes around 14 days to process the refund.

    The subscription must be cancelled no less than 24 hours before its renewal date.

    Please be aware that your purchased subscription does not cancel automatically if you delete the App. You should cancel the subscription before deletion of the App.

  2. If you have purchased a subscription via any app distribution platform (App Store, Google Play, etc.)

    You can cancel your subscription with your app distribution platform. In order to do this, reach out to Apple or Google (or other applicable app distribution platform) directly with any refund requests. For example, Apple is typically able to honor all refund requests within 30 days of the purchase date (at their discretion). Customers who subscribed to our App through iTunes will need to reach out to Apple directly at https://getsupport.apple.com/. Customers who subscribed to Simple through Google Play will need to follow instructions at https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637.

CANCELLATION DURING COOLING-OFF PERIOD

Many countries have statutory provisions in place that enable customers to ask for a cancellation and refund during the so-called “cooling-off period”, and we respect your rights in this regard. The terms differ from state to state, but please find below some examples.

For example, if you reside in California or Connecticut and cancel the purchase at any time prior to midnight of the 3rd business day after the date of such purchase, we will return the payment you have made. If you are an EEA or UK resident, you have the right to cancel your subscription and request a refund without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of subscription start. The indicated periods are of an exemplary nature only, your applicable legislation shall always prevail in this regard.

Please note that some items are non-refundable:

  • lifetime subscription;
  • gift card purchases;
  • Emotional eating course;
  • Simple workbooks.

You lose your right of withdrawal in respect of the above items if the performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

IMPORTANT STATEMENT

The Refund Policy shall be effective as of August 11, 2022 The Refund Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Use and shall be binding for the users upon the acceptance of the Terms of Use. Any translation from the English version is provided for your convenience only. In the event of any discrepancies between the English version and any other translated version, the English version shall prevail.
